Why battery storage matters
Battery energy storage is the bridge between renewable generation and a reliable supply. It allows solar and wind to operate more efficiently, supporting the UK’s net zero targets while strengthening national energy security.
Our battery projects store renewable energy when generation is high and deliver it instantly when it’s needed most, helping to:
- Store excess renewable generation for use during peak demand
- Prevent blackouts and voltage fluctuations
- Enable more renewables projects to connect to the grid
- Ensure renewables can support millions of homes and businesses
- Create skilled local jobs and investment opportunities
- Reduce the UK’s carbon emissions and reliance on fossil fuels
Our expertise in battery storage
We’re a trusted leader in delivering large-scale renewable and battery projects across the UK. With over a decade of experience in renewable infrastructure, we bring together every stage of the process, from development to construction, operation, and maintenance.
Our expertise includes:
- Integrated EPC and O&M capabilities for end-to-end delivery
- Proven experience in utility-scale energy storage and hybrid systems
- Strong partnerships with councils, utilities, and technology leaders
- A commitment to quality, safety (ISO 45001), and long-term reliability
Built responsibly, operated with care
Like all our renewable projects, our battery sites are developed with the community and environment in mind.
We minimise visual and noise impact, select sites responsibly, and maintain open communication with local communities throughout the project lifecycle.
From design to operation, every decision reflects our commitment to safety, biodiversity, and lasting local benefit.
Powering progress for the UK
Our battery storage projects prove that renewable power can be both sustainable and dependable. Each site we build helps secure the UK’s clean energy future, keeping the grid stable and the lights on for homes and businesses.
