2025 Impact Report
As we’ve continued to grow, we’ve become clearer on how we want to deliver our projects and the standards that sit behind them. At the same time, expectations across the renewable energy sector have continued to rise, with greater focus on how projects are developed, managed over time and the role they play within the landscapes and communities they are part of.
Our 2025 Impact Report reflects that progress. It brings together the work carried out across the year and shows how we are strengthening our approach to land stewardship, community engagement and responsible business practice.
Environment and Land Stewardship
Our approach to land and biodiversity sits at the centre of how we deliver projects.
In 2025, we introduced our Nature Protection Pledge, committing to protect, restore and enhance the land across every site. This is supported by a minimum 60% Biodiversity Net Gain target, alongside habitat creation, hedgerow planting and long‑term ecological monitoring across our sites.
Across our portfolio, projects contributed to:
- 619,250 MWh of renewable energy generated annually
- Over 103,000 tonnes of COâ‚‚ emissions avoided from projects in development
- An average of 164% Biodiversity Net Gain on sites submitted to planning
We also continued to refine how projects are delivered, including trials of lower‑impact construction methods to reduce emissions and noise on site.
Communities
Our projects are part of the communities in which they are located, and we aim to ensure they deliver long‑term value.
Through Community Benefit Funds, we supported projects such as the Belchamp St Paul Energy Savings Project, improving a community building used by seven rural parishes and making it more accessible and affordable to run throughout the year.
We also contributed to local initiatives and events, with £5,120 invested in community activities in Shepton Mallet and the surrounding areas, supporting projects that strengthen community life and local identity.
People and culture
Our people are central to how we deliver our projects and how the business continues to develop.
In 2025:
- 124 colleagues completed training across 45 courses
- 517 total training records were recorded
- Employee satisfaction reached 78.9% in the UK and 76% in Australia
We continued to invest in wellbeing, development and inclusion, supported by a network of 35 Mental Health First Aiders and a working environment built around collaboration and shared responsibility.
Integrity and governance
Strong governance underpins every part of how we operate.
During 2025 we:
- Became a member of the Responsible Business Alliance
- Strengthened supplier oversight through EcoVadis assessments
- Maintained ISO certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
- Continued to develop our approach to cyber security and responsible AI use
We also continued to reduce operational impact, with 45.7% of our fleet now electric, supporting lower emissions across our day‑to‑day operations.
