An evening of ESG, biodiversity and business
An after‑work conversation about how ESG works in practice
British Solar Renewables and Carymoor Environmental Trust are hosting a joint after‑work event during Pollinator Week, as part of Carymoor’s 30th anniversary year.
The event brings together local businesses, partners and funders for an open, engaging conversation about biodiversity, particularly pollinators, and how ESG can support business strategy, investment, identity and workplace culture. It’s designed to spark ideas, challenge assumptions and leave people feeling energised about what ESG can look like in practice.
What we’ll be talking about
The evening will explore how organisations are approaching ESG in real terms, with nature and biodiversity as a starting point. Contributors will share what’s gaining momentum, what’s shifting, and where businesses are seeing real value.
We’ll be discussing:
- why pollinators and biodiversity matter to businesses, not just the environment
- how ESG can strengthen long-term strategy, investment, purpose and staff engagement
- what embedding ESG looks like beyond policies, reports and tick‑boxes
- how local partnerships help turn good intent into meaningful action
You’ll hear from British Solar Renewables, Carymoor Environmental Trust each bringing a different perspective on business, conservation and environmental responsibility.
Who the evening is for
This event is particularly relevant for:
- local and regional businesses
- public sector organisations and delivery partners
- funders and grant‑giving bodies
- organisations curious about ESG, biodiversity or nature‑based approaches
It’s designed to be useful whether you’re just starting to explore ESG or looking to build on work already underway.
