BSR Signs 15-Year Route-to-Market Agreement with ElectroRoute
We’re proud to announce that British Solar Renewables has signed a 15-year route-to-market agreement with ElectroRoute, supporting the long-term delivery of clean, homegrown energy across the UK.
This follows our previous 10 year route-to-market announcement with Axpo, and marks another major step in our strategy to deliver long-term, sustainable impact through trusted partnerships.

The agreement covers nine of our UK-based solar farms, representing a total capacity of 462MWp. Collectively, these sites will generate around 482GWh of renewable electricity each year – enough to power approximately 130,000 homes annually.
This long-term route-to-market agreement strengthens our role as one of the UK’s leading independent power producers, and brings us closer to our goal of building and operating 700MW of renewable capacity by 2027.
A long-term partnership for impact
Through this partnership, ElectroRoute will provide route-to-market services, helping ensure the efficient delivery of solar power into the grid and supporting the UK’s shift towards a more resilient, net-zero energy system.
“This route-to-market agreement is another milestone in BSR’s journey to becoming one of the UK’s leading independent power producers. It supports our long-term strategy to develop, own, and operate high-quality renewable energy projects that deliver consistent value and impact. As we grow our operational portfolio, we remain focused on playing a meaningful role in strengthening the UK’s energy resilience and accelerating the path to net zero.”
Driving the UK’s energy transition
This new agreement is part of our wider commitment to creating a cleaner, more secure energy future. By pairing high-quality solar developments with strong delivery partners, we’re ensuring long-term performance and impact.
