British Solar Renewables acquires Little Crow Solar Park from INRG Solar

We’re excited to share that British Solar Renewables have acquired Little Crow from INRG solar.

Little Crow 1

Little Crow is a 150MWp photovoltaic (PV) project co-located with a 60MW battery energy storage system (BESS). JLL’s Energy and Infrastructure Advisory team acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor, and we will build and operate the project, strengthening our position as an independent power producer.

Solar energy is a key part of the UK Government’s renewable energy strategy. The acquisition of Little Crow is part of our ambition to construct and operate 700MW of renewable energy capacity by 2027 - enough to power 144,775 homes each year - helping to drive the UK’s 2030 clean energy targets.

Finalising the development and acquisition of the project has been an 18-month process to which we've been actively involved and focused through. Not only is Little Crow now the largest site in our ownership, but crucially, it also meets and exceeds our 60% minimum BNG targets, reaching 140%.

“We’re thrilled to have reached this significant milestone and to officially welcome Little Crow as a BSR project. We’re excited to move into the delivery phase and to see it fully come to life through our design and construction.”
