What you will be doing in this role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Site Administrator/Logistics Coordinator to deliver a 37.2MWP Solar Project, located in northern Victoria, Australia

Drawing on internal and external resources the Site Administrator/Logistics Coordinator will involve the planning and implementation of an agreed list of materials planned for delivery across the EPC project life span from Design through commissioning to handover, plus any other tasks assigned by the Site/Construction Manager.

The successful candidate will be required to oversee material delivery and control at the site, and provision of site services to maintain the continued daily operation of the site to ensure the project is delivered as per the construction program and within the project budget utilising BSR’s processes and procedures.

The candidate will be responsible in evaluating delivery progression and reporting back to the BSR Site/Construction Manager.

This role is a one-year fixed term contract.

What we need from you:

  • Ensuring a high standard of Health and Safety is being followed on site.
  • Establishing project-specific health, safety, environment and quality processes with site services providers, suppliers and logistics subcontractor.
  • Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to these HSEQ processes
  • Consult with and communicate HSEQ values throughout the project team including Subcontractors and their workers
  • Arranging and coordinating the day-to-day site services requirements for operation of the site, including provision of facilities, team accommodation and associated costs, water supply, waste removal, fuel supply, cleaning, site security and any other specific needs.
  • Analyse and collate material delivery figures, reporting to the Site/Construction Manager
  • Create and maintain a clear communication channel between Site Services vendors, Suppliers and the site team
  • Coordinating Supplier deliveries for the site with the site team.
  • Manage and maintain the site logistics delivery schedules
  • Oversee the logistics and timing of deliveries liaising with head office Contracts Manager
  • Manage the QA/QC process for material receipt onsite
  • Maintaining the register for delivered materials and equipment
  • Auditing and observing site procedures weekly
  • Ensure Site-Specific Inductions (as required) are successfully completed by Site Services and Logistics personnel attending site.

Authorities:

  • Reviewing Subcontractor HSEQ procedures including SWMS and JSEAs and proposing for approval by Site/Construction Manager
  • Quality assessor and controller
  • Reviewing ITPs, NCRs and audit findings

What skills will you have?

  • Successful delivery of civil works and road works projects of a similar nature to the project scope in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Australian building legislation requirements.

Education:

  • Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
