Developing Australia’s Clean Energy Powerhouse
BSR Energy has over 10 years’ of combined solar project development experience in Australia and the UK. BSR has a strong track record in developing both green field and complex brown field sites in the UK. BSR Australia’s learnings from building projects locally has now evolved to working on building a large pipeline of renewable energy and storage projects across the country.
The Australian Government has commited to reach net zero by 2050, and renewable electricity generation, including solar and storage, will play a key role in this journey. BSR Australia is focused on developing long term renewable energy projects that will lead to significant reductions in carbon emissions.
BSR Australia specialises in developing ground-mounted solar PV and energy storage projects, either to deliver power to the grid or to feed the demand of utility-sized energy users.
We’re proud to be part of Australia’s green revolution, while delivering value and grid stability to landowners and the communities we work within.
Solar and storage projects require a decent amount of usable land with a minimum of 50Ha and a nearby connection to the electricity grid. Think of it as a diversified crop future-proofing low-grade agricultural land from drought and other commerical constraints. Landowners can dervive a second income with a reliable financial future that can be further invested in their business and family. BSR are looking to partner with landowners by leasing portions of land within Australia for longterm investment and profitable returns. If you think your land might be suitable and you are keen to consider green investment options, please get in contact with us.
Renewable Energy Lifecycle
Identify & Survey
We work with landowners to carefully create a mutually beneficial leasing structure for suitable land parcels. Development feasibility studies are conducted including land suitability, grid connection availability, indigenous heritage, and ecological sensitivities. BSR takes our role as a renewable energy developer seriously and is invested in a long-term relationship with the landowner and the local community.
Present. Amend. Approve
We pride ourselves on engaging with all local stakeholders, Local Council and the State Government as part of the planning due dilligence process. We discuss and review all potential project plans, taking into account impacts on the community and the flora and fauna of the location before finalising the project design with the landowner.
Construct. Maintain. Monitor
With over a decade’s development experience, we’re able to see our projects through from inception to construction and beyond. We maintain and monitor our parks to ensure they continue to deliver value and efficiency for the long-term good of the project, for the usability of the land and the landowner. BSR has a ‘leave no trace’ policy when it’s time to decommission the project.
