Procurement Assistant (25 hours per week)

About this role:
The Procurement Department are responsible for all purchasing, hire and supply contracts across the BSR Group of companies. From central office requirements to multiple high value materials required for construction and maintenance in the UK and internationally.

What we need from you:
The procurement administrator will have an overview of all responsibilities across the department, and provide support to the Director of Procurement, Procurement Manager and Procurement Assistant.

  • Filing of delivery paperwork received to the head office ensuring deliveries are fulfilled and advising of discrepancies
  • Filing of project documentation to the correct location; data sheets, quotes, purchase orders, order confirmations
  • Allocation of delivery paperwork from remote projects and update the status of the relevant orders on the request system, uploading to the relevant Project Documents
  • Ensuring deliveries fulfil the expected BoM
  • Raise POs as required
  • Record EPC Tool purchases and maintain and arrange calibrations as required
  • Arrange for owned plant services and LOLERs to be carried out
  • Check supplier on hire reports against hire tracker
  • Compile warranty information
  • Ensure compliance with the Procurement procedures
  • Answering main line calls
  • Other ad hoc duties to meet the requirements of the department.

What skills you will have:

  • Experience of Sage or similar software
  • SharePoint
  • Exemplary organisational and administrative skills
  • Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and plan throughout the working day.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
