Document Controller

What the Role Involves
This is a practical, coordination-focused role where you’ll be involved in the full document lifecycle across multiple renewable sites:
Document Management

  • Maintaining, organising, and distributing project documentation
  • Producing EPC completion packs, O&M manuals, and ensuring compliance
  • Supporting the compilation and upkeep of Health & Safety files

Accuracy & Compliance

  • Collating documentation for revenue requirements (e.g., CfDs)
  • Checking and cross-referencing information for consistency and traceability

Coordination & Communication

  • Working with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify documentation
  • Resolving document queries and ensuring information flow between stakeholders

Tracking & Archiving

  • Managing trackers and document lists
  • Ensuring documentation is issued on schedule for each build
  • Archiving in line with contractor and project standards

Project Support

  • Assisting with site visit organisation and snagging list progress
  • Supporting EPC milestones such as TOC, IAC and FAC to help keep projects moving

Data & Reporting

  • Producing reports for SPVs and Asset Management
  • Using data for contractual reporting including performance and availability figures

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach
  • Confidence using document management systems and MS Office
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling large volumes of information
  • Clear communication and a proactive approach to resolving queries
  • An understanding of EPC or construction project lifecycles (helpful but not essential)
