About this role:
Supporting the Head of Legal and providing legal advice and support to all areas of the business with particular focus on commercial contracts, including PPAs and optimisation agreements, corporate, M&A and funding work and undertaking other legal tasks as directed.
What you’ll be doing:
M&A, Sales & Funding
- Leading the legal delivery of commercial projects within the group, including M&A, sales, and funding (Junior and Senior), including co-ordinating external legal providers
- W&I insurance co-ordination
- Managing legal and contractual due diligence processes including Q&A/Disclosure.
Corporate
- Providing corporate support including drafting board notes and board minutes.
- Structuring groups for debt raise
- Legal input on investment papers
PPA/Offtake agreements
- Drafting, negotiating, reviewing, advising on and assembling PPAs including cPPAs and RtMPPAs.
- Reviewing and advising on optimisation agreements.
- Providing legal support where required on CfDs and Capacity market issues.
General/Other
- Drafting, negotiating, advising on and reviewing:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Terms & Conditions.
- Ad hoc Agreements and Miscellaneous Contracts.
- Drafting and maintaining precedent contracts and agreements.
- Liaising with external lawyers and internal teams.
- Assisting and supporting the Head of Legal with legal compliance and risk management.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced qualified Solicitor
- Experience managing an ever-changing workload in an exciting, agile, fast-paced environment
- Experience working in the renewable energy sector is desirable
- In-house legal team experience is desirable

- Highly organised, proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Commercially aware, and customer focussed.
