British Solar Renewables (BSR) secures up to £130 million financing from Eiffel Investment Group

BSR has secured up to £130 million in financing from Eiffel Investment Group, supporting continued investment across our renewable energy portfolio in the UK and Australia.

The agreement follows our £345 million project financing completed in 2025 and builds on the momentum we’ve created as a fully integrated independent power producer.

As demand for clean, homegrown energy continues to grow, so does the need for long-term investment. Developing, building and operating renewable energy infrastructure takes patience, expertise and the right backing. This financing helps us continue doing exactly that.

Supporting renewable energy investment across the UK and Australia

The financing is supported by around 700MW of highly contracted solar and co-located renewable energy assets across the UK and Australia.

For us, growth has never been about building a pipeline for the sake of it. It’s about creating projects that generate reliable renewable energy while delivering long-term value for the people, communities and businesses connected to them.

This investment helps us continue progressing projects through development, construction and operation, while maintaining the long-term approach that sits at the heart of how we work.

A renewable energy platform built for the long term

Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a solar developer into a fully integrated independent power producer, with the capability to develop, build and operate our own assets.

That model gives us accountability throughout the lifecycle of a project and allows us to take a long-term view when making decisions.

Tim Humpage, CEO, British Solar Renewables explains:

“This financing marks an important milestone for BSR, building on the £345 million project financing completed in 2025. As we continue to scale across the UK and Australia, the mezzanine facility from Eiffel provides the flexible capital we need to advance our pipeline and invest across the platform. We’re pleased to be working with Eiffel, whose experience in the energy transition and confidence in our business make them a strong partner for this next phase of growth.”

Growing confidence in the clean energy transition

This agreement also reflects the wider momentum behind renewable energy.

As the UK continues to strengthen its energy system and accelerate decarbonisation, the role of renewable infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. Well-planned solar projects help provide reliable domestic generation, support energy security and contribute to long-term climate goals.

Investment remains a critical part of that journey, helping bring projects forward and ensuring clean energy infrastructure can continue to grow alongside demand.
