Kerang Solar Farm
BSR owns and operates Kerang Solar Farm, in the Gannawarra Shire in Northern Victoria. Kerang Solar Farm utilises Single Axis Tracker (SAT) technology paired with Bifacial Modules, to maximise efficiency and output. The solar farm is connected via the 22kV distribution network to the Kerang Zone Sub-station via an underground transmission line, connecting into the Kerang Terminal Substation (KGTS). The installed DC Capacity for this project is 37.2MWp. The solar farm’s export limit to the network is 30MW AC.
Katherine Solar Farm
BSR built and operates Katherine Solar Farm. It is the first and largest solar and storage project in the Northern Territory, Australia, located approximately 5km north west from Katherine. The solar farm is connected via the 22kV distribution network to the Katherine 132/22kV Zone Substation via a double circuit overhead line. 99,180 340W photovoltaic (PV) modules are installed, creating a DC capacity of 33.7MWp. The solar farm’s export limit to the Katherine network is 25MW AC.
Batchelor Solar Farm
Batchelor Solar Farm, built and operated by BSR, is located near Batchelor in the Northern Territory, approximately 100km south of Darwin. The solar farm has a DC capacity of 12.5MW, consisting of 28756 photovoltaic (PV) modules each rated at 435W, delivering around 10MW AC export capacity to the local 22kV distribution network. It is connected to the Darwin-Katherine Interconnected System via the Batchelor 132/22kV Zone Substation.
Batchelor 2 Solar Farm (BSF)
Batchelor 2 Solar Farm (BSF) Built and operated by BSR, is a solar PV grid connected power plant situated in Batchelor, NT located approximately 100km south of Darwin in the Northern Territory. The solar farm connects via underground cabling to the Batchelor 132/22kV Zone Substation. Similar to the Batchelor Solar Farm. The 12.5MWp / 10MW AC project supports the Northern Territory’s renewable energy goals by providing clean energy access while integrating into the local grid infrastructure efficiently.
Manton Solar Farm
BSR built and operates Manton Dam Solar Farm. It is located approximately 100km South of Darwin in the Northern Territory. The solar farm is connected via the 22kV distribution network to the Manton 132/22kV Zone Substation via an overhead transmission line. The project has 28,420 of photovoltaic (PV) modules installed that are each 440W, creating a DC capacity of 12.5MWp with an export limit to the network of 10MWac.Â
